Process benchmark for precision part machining
Nov 02, 2018

The part processing process is a process of directly changing the appearance (shape, size, position, performance) of the raw material to make it a semi-finished workpiece or finished product. This process is called the process flow, which is the processing benchmark of the part. The process of machining precision parts is more complicated. The chief engineer of Ruiqi Technology answers the technical benchmark of precision parts processing.

Precision parts processing technology benchmarks can be divided into different processes according to different processes: casting, forging, stamping, welding, heat treatment, machining, assembly and so on. The precision parts processing process generally refers to the general term of the NC machining and machine assembly process of the entire part, while other such as cleaning, inspection, equipment maintenance, oil seal, etc. are only auxiliary processes. The turning method changes the surface properties of raw materials or semi-finished products. This process is called CNC machining process. The CNC machining process in the precision parts processing industry is the most important process.

The process details of CNC precision parts processing are detailed below.

(1) Positioning reference, the positioning reference used by the lathe or fixture when machining on a CNC lathe.

(2) Measurement basis, which usually refers to the size or position criteria to be observed during inspection.

(3) Assembly benchmark. This benchmark is usually the position standard of the components during the assembly process.
